Nova 8th Gen Intel Core i9, i7 i i5 procesora za laptopove je bazirana na Coffee Lake platformama i koriste tehnologiju procesora 14nm++ omogućavajući im da dostignu do 41 procenata više frejmova u sekundi u toku igranja igrica ili edituju 4K videa do 59 posto brže od prethodne generacije sa istim diskretnim grafikama.2
Osma generacija Intel Core i9-8950HK procesora optimizovana je za pomeranje performansnih granica na novi nivo.To je prvi Intelov procesor sa šest jezgara i 12 tredova. The Intel® Thermal Velocity Boost feature is supported on Intel® Core™ i9-8950HK and Intel® Xeon® Processor E-2186M and is designed to increase performance of both multi-threaded and single-threaded workloads. The maximum Core Frequency is achieved while the processor is at a temperature of 50°C or lower and turbo power budget is available. Frequencies may reduce over time as processor temperature increases.
